Today's Recipe Sharing: Vanilla Sugar Cookies Recipe

【raw material】

250g unsalted butter (9 oz)

200 g granulated sugar (7 oz)

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

450 grams plain flour (1 lb)


For best results, mix ingredients at room temperature. Prep and bake time: 20 minutes.

Cooldown: 1.5 hours.

Beat softened butter and sugar until smooth.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat well.

Add half of the flour and mix well. Then add the rest of the flour, mix and knead until

Soft dough mixture.

Divide the dough into two equal portions and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Once cooled, roll out the dough on baking paper to a thickness of 5mm and cut out your designs.

Sprinkle flour lightly on dough surface, knife and rolling pin. For best results

Let cool for a further half an hour before baking.

Bake at 170 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool before decorating and serving.

Turned out very nice! Make sure to follow a recipe specifically made for stamping. Also, before putting cookies in the oven, put them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes on the cookie sheet. Keeps the letters from expanding.
